No Ordo …

… yet.

The Ordo will be online as soon as possible. The clue for this day is to read the rubrics in the Proper of the Season and follow them to the letter. No other feasts are celebrated or commeorated for now.

Also instead of “To thee O Lord …” there is said “Alleulia” and the Doxlogy is added in the Psalter and the Versicles as is usual.

  1. Hello,

I came to your site from the Divine Office Yahoo group. Though I very much appreciate all the work there, I am very excited that you are providing the SK ordo. I am a bit contemplative and I find the SK to have great lucidity and elegance. I also found great links on your site and came across the Society for Catholic Priests and their posts on Radical Orthodoxy which interests me greatly. All that said I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. A few days ago there was an ordo up for the first days of the week with a notice that the rest would be up soon and now there is no mention of it I can find. Thanks for all you work,
    Raymond

    1. Dear Raymond,

Thank you so much for your kind words and interest. You are not doing anything wrong. I have simply not been able to complete the Ordo for the past week. There are some unexpected changes that required my attention. I have provided the SK Ordo for week 16.

  2. Also for this Saturday the Office of St. Mary on the Sabbath is said (beginning on page G1). But at Vespers: of the feria, under the one Easter Ant., Chap from lauds of the Second Sunday, Hymn from the Ordinary as for Eastertide, Ant. on Magn. is the same as the Ant. on ben. for the Second Sunday. Commem. of the Cross from A7. At Compline the Preces are said.
