Note during Holy Week: The six following days are priviliged Ferias, whereon no Feast may have Office. If a I or II Class Double occur on any day from Palm Sunday to the Octave Day of Easter, it is transferred to the first open day thereafter; but of other Feasts occurring a Commem., is made at Vespers and Lauds, except during the Sacred Triduum and on Easter Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, on which days no Commem., may be made, and even the Commem., of such a Feast is omitted for that year.

28 Palm Sunday, Sunday of I Class, Semidouble.

Psalms & Ant., at all Hours from the Psalter.

At Matins: Inv., & Hymn from Ordinary for Passiontide. Matins is of three Lessons. Lessons i-iii with their Responds from Proper (C278-9). Lessons iv-vi with their Responds from Proper (C279-280). Lessons vii-ix with their Responds from Proper (C280-1). No Te Deum.

At Lauds: Psalms of Lauds 2. Ant., from Proper (C282). All else also according to Proper (C282). Preces are said. Collect is Proper (C281-2). No Suffrage.

At the Hours: Psalms of Sunday, Ant., from Proper (C282). All else also according to Proper (C282).

Vespers: Psalms of Sunday, all else according to Proper (C282).

29 Monday in Holy Week, priviliged Greater Feria.

All as in the Psalter except what is given as proper for the Season (C282-284).

Matins: Inv. Hymn from Ordinary for Passiontide. Lessons from Proper (C282-3).

Lauds: Ant., from Proper (C283-4) Psalms from Lauds 2. Ant., on Ben., from Proper (C284). Preces are said. Collect from Proper (C284). The 1662 BCP does not provide a collect. Either the American 1928 BCP collect can be used or the Latin Rite collect.

Special attention ought to be given to the Note found on p. C288 of the Anglican Breviary concerning the special properties of the Office during the Sacred Triduum.

2 FRIDAY OF THE PREPARATION or GOOD FRIDAY, Double of I Class.

All as given in the Proper (C304-315).

3 THE HOLY SABBATH or HOLY SATURDAY or EASTER EVEN, Double of I Class.

All as given in the Proper (C316-325).
